Advanced fax functions
The <Advanced Functions> key is for easy access to the following fax functions listed in
the table.
NOTE: • To shorten a frequent-use operation, assigning the function to a soft key is recom-
mended. For how to do this, see page 8-2.
• If one of the functions is assigned to any of the three soft keys, that function will
not be available through the <Advance Functions> key.
To select the fax function using the <Advanced Functions> key:

Press <q> or <p>, or <Advanced Functions> repeatedly to select the function. Then
press <Enter>.

Used to send a fax to multiple parties.
Address Entry
Used to enter a recipient’s address.

Prints the transmit confirmation report for the next transmission.
Monitor
Obtains a dial tone for on-hook dialing.

Delayed
Used to make a delayed transmission.
Batch Tx
Stores a document for batch transmission.
Select TTI
Used to select the TTI or to disable the TTI on your transmission.
Cover Page
Used for the cover page setting.
Fax Forward
Enables or disables fax forwarding.
Fax & Copy
Enables or disables Fax&Copy.
Security
Enables or disables security reception.
Separator Page
Enables or disables separator page.
Memory Tx
Enables or disables memory Tx.
Auto Rx
Toggles between the manual and auto reception mode.
F-Code Tx
Used to make an F-code transmission.
F-Code Polling
Used for F-code polling.
Polling
Used for polling reception.
Dial Prefix
Used to enter the “/N” symbol.
Bypass
Used to set the paper size on the bypass tray.
Page Counter
Displays the total printed and scanned page count.
Energy Save
Switches to the energy save mode immediately.

Online
Cancels PC printing.

Switches the machine’s mode.
E-mail Gateway
Enables or disables the e-mail gateway.
