Sounding the Metronome
The CD-2e has built-in metronome—a convenient feature for practicing an instrument.

Press the [
(Metronome)] button to turn the metronome on.

If the metronome is on, the [
(Metronome)] button will light. At the same time, the
metronome’s indicator will start blinking on the beat.
When you press the [
(Metronome)] button once again, the metronome will turn off
(unlit).

Setting the sound.

Press the [MENU] button to access the menu screen.
Use the [
] [
] buttons to choose “Sound.”
* If you press the [MENU] button while the metronome is
on, a screen where you can select the metronome sound
will immediately appear.

Use the [+] [-] buttons to select the desired metronome
sound.

Press the [EXIT] button to return to the menu screen.
Use the [

] buttons to choose “Tempo.”
Press the [ENTER] button to confirm your choice.
Use the [+] [-] buttons to specify the metronome
tempo.
If you press the [
] button, the value will return to
“120.”

A human voice (English) will count the beats

There will be no sound; the metronome indicator will blink to mark the

Specifies the number of quarter-notes in one minute.
Decreasing this value will make the tempo slower. Increasing
this value will make the tempo faster.
