New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you 
can use your phone, you need to install and charge the 
battery as described below. Some batteries perform best 
after several full charge/discharge cycles. 

Insert the battery, 
printed arrow first, 
under the tab at 
the top of the 
battery 
compartment and 
push down.

Place the battery 
door back on the 
phone and push it 
up to snap it into 
place.

Plug the travel 
charger into your 
phone with the 
release tab facing 
up.
