18. To exit the Folder settings screen, press the Close button in the upper right corner of the screen.
19. To exit the screen that lists all assigned and unassigned folders, press the Close button in the upper 
right corner of the screen.
Configuring Expiration Settings for Stored Documents
This setting allows the System Administrator to set a document expiration timer to delete documents 
stored in, but not retrieved from, folders.
1. Press the Log In/Out button on the control panel.
2. On the keypad enter admin or the current System Administrator Login ID. Touch Next when 
finished.
3. On the keypad enter 1111 or the current Passcode. Touch Enter when finished.
4. From the Tools screen, use the arrow control in the Group menu to scroll to Stored File Settings.
5. Select Expiration Date for Files in Folder and touch Change Settings.
6. Select On, set the timer controls, and touch Save.
7. Make any other selections desired, press Change Settings, then press Save.
8. Press Close to return to the Tools screen.
9. To exit the Tools screen, wait several seconds for the Auto Clear service to log you out.
Setting Up Folders with CentreWare Internet Services
Note:
Scanning to the printer's hard drive requires the set up of individual Folders to receive scanned 
files. Up to 200 Folders can be set up to support this type of scanning. To set up Folders, perform the 
following steps:
1. Open your Web browser and enter the IP address of the printer in the address field. Press Enter to 
open CentreWare Internet Services.
2. Click the Scan tab.
3. Click Folder.
4. When the numbered list of folders is shown, locate an unassigned folder number from the 
displayed list and click the Create button for that folder.
5. Type in a name for this Folder in the Folder Name entry box.
6. Type in a pass code in the Folder Passcode entry box.
7. Confirm the pass code by retyping it in the Retype Passcode box.
8. Use the drop down arrow to set Check Folder Passcode to Always (recommended) to secure your 
folder.
9. Place a checkmark in the Delete Files after Print or Retrieve box if you wish to delete documents 
from your folder after retrieving or printing.
10. Place a checkmark in the Delete Expired Files with box to use this feature in place of, or as an 
augmentation to, Auto Delete.
11. Click Apply when done.
