CHAPTER 8 CLI Operations

 

• Internal communication error.

Cause: An internal error occurred.

Action: Check the system status, and reenter the command. If the error occurs again, 

collect unit information, configuration definition information, and the 
information in different types of logs, and restart the unit.  Alternatively, 
contact a certified service engineer.

• % Not implement daughter card.

Cause: TenGigabitEthernet was specified for the unit where no TenGigabitEthernet 

daughter card was implemented.

Action: Check the device configuration.

• source/destination can't be registered at same port.

Cause: Registering a port with both [source] and [destination] was attempted.

Action: Check the entries already registered.

• Input parameter error.

Cause: An invalid parameter was specified.

Action: Specify the correct parameter.

This command is used to specify an interface.

z <interface-id>

Specifies the interface for this setting (GigabitEthernet 0/1 to 0/8, IO_Units 00 to 71, 
TenGigabitEthernet 1/1 to 1/2, ports 1 to 33, port-channels 1 to 7).
