3.2 Selecting a Connector
Select the connector depending on the type of the MCU as described in Table 3.1 and Figure 3.1
below.

* No selection is required for the PCA4738S-42A and PCA4738F-42A. (The PCA7402E connec-
tor is already attached.)
* For the MCU whose internal ROM is 32 KB or less, the applicable adapter (PCA4738D/
PCA7402D or PCA4738E/PCA7402E) depends on its device (M5M27C256A mode or
M5M27C101 mode). For each matching device of the MCU, refer to Tables 3.6 to 3.9 on pages
16 to 18.
