Using Map Editor
Map Editor allows you to define, draw, and enhance floor plan related information. It allows you to
create and specify the type of obstacles so that they can be taken into consideration while computing
RF prediction heatmaps for access points. You can also add coverage areas for Location Appliances that
locate clients and tags in that particular area.
To access the Map Editor:

To access the Map Editor:

Highlight the Monitor tab and click Maps to bring up the Maps page.
•
Click the desired campus under the Name list.
•
Click on a building on the campus.
•
Click on the desired floor area to bring up the Maps > <Campus name> > <Building name>
> <Floor area name> page.
> <Floor area name> page.

From the Select a command drop-down menu, select Map Editor and click GO to bring up the
Map Editor page.
