This Utility lets you manage the printer’s hard disk and flash memory, 
and download fonts, macros and firmware. 

Storage Device Manager (SDM) provides a means of managing

• The printer’s internal hard disk drive (optional): 20 GB [partitioned 

as Common, PCL and PostScript].  

• The printer’s flash memory (2 MB).  

• Using the software improves the internal performance of the 

printer and provides a tool for downloading files from the computer 
to the printer’s memory, including

– Overlays such as logos, addresses, etc.
– Graphic files
– Forms such as letterheads, invoices, etc.

Load this program from the Menu Installer located on CD1.
