Controlling KVM Port Connections
Controlling Power of a KVM-connected Server
In order to control power of a server while connected to the server, the
following conditions must be met:

The server must have at least one power cord plugged into an AlterPath

To Power On, Power Off, or Reboot the

1. While connected to a server, use the power management keyboard
shortcut.
The default is Ctrl+k p.
A window similar to the following appears.
2. Select the configured outlet.
3. Do one of the following:
• To turn the power on, select On.
• To turn the power off, select Off.
• To reboot, select Cycle.
To lock or unlock outlets, you must go to the Power Management menu.
