ONFIGURATION
Configuration example
Enable MSTP on the switch and disable MSTP on port Ethernet1/0/1.
Configure in system view.
<S5500> system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[S5500] stp enable
[S5500] stp interface ethernet1/0/1 disable
Configure in Ethernet port view.
<S5500> system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[S5500] stp enable
[S5500] interface ethernet1/0/1
[S5500-Ethernet1/0/1] stp disable
Leaf Node 
Configuration
Table 159 lists the MSTP configuration tasks for leaf nodes.
With both GVRP and MSTP enabled on switches, GVRP packets will be forwarded 
along the CIST. If you want to broadcast packets of a specific VLAN through GVRP, be 
sure to map the VLAN to the CIST when configuring the MSTP VLAN mapping table. 
The CIST of a network is the spanning tree instance numbered 0.
Prerequisites
Before configuration, determine what roles the switches will play in the spanning 
trees, that is, whether a switch will be the root, a branch, or a leaf in a spanning tree
