Excessive Collisions* The number of frames for which transmission failed due to 

excessive collisions.

Internal Mac Transmit 

Errors*

The number of frames for which transmission failed due to 

an internal MAC sublayer transmit error.

Carrier 

Sense Errors*

The number of times that the carrier sense condition was 

lost or never asserted when attempting to transmit a frame. 

Frames Too Long

The number of frames received that exceed the maximum 

permitted frame size.

Internal Mac Receive 

Errors*

The number of frames for which reception failed due to an 

internal MAC sublayer receive error.

*  The reported values will always be zero because these statistics are not supported 

by the internal chip set used in this switch.
