Press the Hub’s Down button four times from the Idle Display screen, or once from the System Status screen, to
reach the Serial Port screen. The Hub’s serial port doesn’t currently do anything, but when it is enabled by
future firmware advances, this is the screen you’ll use to configure it:
***Serial Port***
Baud Rate:57600
Data Bits:8
Parity:No Stop:1
This screen displays the settings that the serial port will require an attached PC to be configured for. Only the
baud rate (data rate) is user-configurable. To change the baud rate, press the Hub’s Enter button. The Edit
Mode screen appears:
***Edit Mode***
Baud Rate:57600
Data Bits:8
Parity:No Stop:1
Press the Up and Down buttons to toggle between the two available rates: 57,600 bps and 38,400 bps. When the
rate you want is displayed, press the Hub’s Enter button to switch to that rate and return to the Serial Port
screen, or press the Hub’s Escape button to return to the Serial Port screen without switching to the new rate.

whatever port was last displayed the previous time you accessed this screen.)
