Now that you have mastered the basics of your phone, you are ready to learn about all the other 
interesting and powerful features that your phone has to offer. The following sections describe advanced 
features available for your phone, such as joining Microsoft Outlook meetings or viewing Lync contacts on 
your phone.

Note that your phone might not support all of the features described in this section. Check with your 
system administrator to find out which features are available on your phone. 

When you set your contacts as favorite in Lync 2013 or pin frequent contacts in Lync 2010, you can view 
a list of Lync contacts and their presence status on your CX5500 system. When a contact updates their 
presence status, such as 

“Available,” “Do Not Disturb,” or “Busy,” you can view their status in real time 

from your Contact list. You can also view your 

contacts’ presence status from Lines view and Home view.
