If you are using optical fiber interface cables in your cluster, you must install an MIA
with the optical fiber cables. Follow this procedure to connect the cluster with optical

NOTE: To use optical fiber cables, your nodes must have QLogic QLA-2100F host bus
adapters with the multimode fiber SC connectors.

Connect an MIA to each port connector you plan to use on the PowerVault stor-
age system, and tighten the two screws on the MIA with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Remove the cover(s) from the optical fiber cable connector(s), and connect the
cable to the MIA.
