Configuring a Model Number
Identification of the hardware chassis is necessary if an OmniView network manager
device will access the node. OmniView displays a graphic representation of the con-
figured chassis.

If the node will not be accessed by OmniView, configuration of a model
number is not necessary; however, configuring it now will avoid a problem

To configure a model number, press

at the SNMP Configuration Menu (or

from the Main Menu). The currently configured model will be displayed. If the
value needs to be changed, press
