To add new recordings at the end of all current
recordings:
Press [RECORD] to start recording , and press
[   STOP] at the point you want to stop.
 Cautions:
All new recordings are automatically placed after previous
recordings unless you intend to overwrite them.
Creating chapters while recording
The DVD Recorder can automatically divide a recording into
chapters by inserting chapter marks at 5/10/15/20/25/30-minute
intervals during recording.
1. Press [SETUP] to display the “SETUP” menu.
2. Press [
] [] to select  “RECORD” and press
[
].
3. Press [
] [] to select “CHAPTER MARK” and
set the desired time.
4. Press [SETUP] to exit the “SETUP” menu.
 Notes:
1. You can also start recording using the “Easy Guider” menu.
Press [
Guider], select “RECORD”, press [ENTER],
and follow the steps to set the desired recording mode.
2. Before you start, please check that the disc has enough
available space for the recording.
3. You cannot change the channel or recording mode during
recording.

Selecting a recorded title (program) on a disc
The “DVD Menu” displays all the titles (programs) recorded on
the disc and you can select the one you want to play.
1. Press [   PLAY] or [   GUIDER]
The “DVD Menu” menu appears when you press [   PLAY] or
[
 GUIDER] and select the “PLAYBACK” icon.  All of the titles
(programs) on the recordable DVD disc are displayed.
2. Press [
] [] to select the title (program) you
want to play and press [ENTER].
To scroll through the “DVD Menu” page by page:
Press [
] [] [] [] to select the “      “ or “      “  icons or
press      [ 
 NEXT] or [ 
 PREVIOUS]. The entire “DVD
Menu” changes to the next/previous page of titles (programs)
.
 Notes:
1. If a power failure occurs, the program you are recording may
be lost.
2. Before you start, please check that the disc has enough
available space for the recording.
3. You cannot change the channel or recording mode during
recording.
4. Before playing a DVD+R disc on compatible equipment, you
will need to finalize the disc.
