The following illustration shows the connectors on the rear of the monitor. 
(Unplug the power source when making connections. The final step in the 
following procedures should be connecting the power adapter to a wall socket.) 

 

 

DC power

Power cord and 
adapter 

Plug the adapter power connector into this DC 
power jack. Plug the female end of the power 
cable into the AC-adapter and the male end of the 
power cord into a wall socket.  

Audio-out  
jack 

Headphone cable (not 
included) 

You can attach your headphones to this jack. 

Audio-in  
jack 

Audio cable 

To avail of the monitor’s built-in stereo speakers, 
plug the audio cable into this jack. Attach the 
other end to your audio source. (To adjust the 
volume, see Audio Settings on page 24.) 

VGA  
port 

D-sub 15-pin VGA 
cable 

Connect one end of the cable to the VGA port. 
Connect the other end to the PC’s VGA port. 
Tighten the securing screws on both connectors.
