To Select Playback Sound

1. Press MENU to display the TV/VCR MAIN MENU.

2. Press 7 to display the AUDIO menu.

3. Press 2 to display the TAPE PLAYBACK menu.

4. Press 1, 2, or 3 to select type of audio you want to playback.

The bullet (•) indicates the one selected.

Select Hi-Fi Stereo to play back sound recorded on the Hi-Fi

track and for normal use.

Select Linear Stereo to play back sound recorded on the linear

monaural track, such as SAP.

Select Hi-Fi/Linear Mix to play back sound recorded on both

the linear monaural track and Hi-Fi track 

sound-on-sound.

TAPE PLAYBACK

Choose which audio 
track is heard during 
tape playback:

1•Hi-Fi Stereo
2 Linear Stereo
3 Hi-Fi/Linear Mix

The TV/VCR records the same audio on both the Hi-Fi and
linear tracks. Hi-Fi sound is recorded on separate left and right
stereo channels. Monaural sound is recorded on the linear tarck.
The Tape Playback feature lets you select the type of audio you
want to playback.
