5.

Loosen the thumbscrews on the right and left fuser unit holding 
plates.

Fuser Unit

6.

Grasp the handle and pull out the fuser unit until the second 
handle is visible.

7.

Grasp the second handle with your other hand and remove the 
fuser from the printer.

8.

Place the fuser on a clean, flat surface with the cover glass 
facing up.
