Listening to Songs
 
You can listen to internal songs, songs you’ve recorded yourself, songs from a music CD, 
songs from the CD-ROM included with the VIMA, and songs saved on USB memory (sold 
separately).
Touch an icon shown in the main screen to select the location of the song you want to 
play.

What you can play
Explanation
The VIMA’s internal songs
 
The VIMA contains numerous built-in songs. 
While a song plays, you can use an external display or a television 
to view a slide show suitable for the character of that song.
 
Songs you record
 
You can record your performance on the VIMA and play it back for 
listening. You can also save such songs in “Favorites.”
 
Songs copied in “Favorites”
 
Internal songs and songs from CD-ROM or USB memory can be 
copied (registered) in “Favorites” and played.
 
Songs on external memory
 
You can play back songs from external memory, such as a USB 
memory device.
 
CD-ROM included with the VIMA
 
The CD-ROM included with the VIMA contains 12 different songs.
While a song plays, you can use an external display or a television 
to view a slide show suitable for the character of that song.
 
CD-ROMs made for the VIMA 
(VIMA TUNES)
 
You can play back commercially available CD-ROMs made for the 
VIMA (VIMA TUNES). 
While a song plays, you can use an external display or a television 
to view a slide show suitable for the character of that song.
 
Music CDs
 
You can play back standard music CDs.
What are “locations”?
On the VIMA, “locations” are the places in which songs are held, such as “Internal 
(internal songs),” “Favorites (user memory),” “CD,” or “Ext Memory (external memory).”
