Temporarily Mute the Main Base Ringer and Call Screen
Press the
key to temporarily mute the incoming ring and call screen. The ringer
will sound with the next incoming call. To turn the ringer back on for this call, press
the ringer key. To hear the answering machine and screen this call, press the
volume/select/

Adjusting the Speaker Volume Level
You can adjust the volume of the main base speaker by pressing the

key for softer while the main base speaker is being
used except for menu mode. The numbers [

] are displayed on the main base
indicating the volume levels. [

Turning the Answering System On/Off
To turn the answering system on, press the
key. The
system will announce “Answering system is on.” The
current greeting message will be played, and you will hear
a confirmation tone. The message counter displays the
number of messages stored in memory. If the display
flashes, then there are new messages waiting for you.
