Problems Starting Up the Prestige 
Chart A-1 Troubleshooting the Start-Up of Your Prestige 
PROBLEM CORRECTIVE 
ACTION 
None of the 
LEDs turn on 
when I turn on 
the Prestige. 
Make sure that the Prestige’s power adaptor is connected to the Prestige and plugged in to an 
appropriate power source. Check that the Prestige and the power source are both turned on. 
Turn the Prestige off and on. 
If the error persists, you may have a hardware problem. In this case, you should contact your 
vendor. 
 
Problems with the LAN LED

PROBLEM CORRECTIVE 
ACTION 
Check your Ethernet cable connections and type (refer to the Compact Guide for 
details).  
Check for faulty Ethernet cables. 
The LAN LEDs do not 
turn on. 
 
Make sure your computer’s Ethernet Card is working properly. 
Problems with the DSL LED

PROBLEM CORRECTIVE 
ACTION 
Check the telephone wire and connections between the Prestige DSL port and the wall 
jack. 
Make sure that the telephone company has checked your phone line and set it up for 
DSL service. 
The xDSL LED is off. 
Reset your ADSL line to reinitialize your link to the DSLAM. For details, refer to the 
Maintenance chapter (web configurator) or the System Information and Diagnosis 
chapter (SMT).
