This menu controls the operation of the printer’s parallel data 

interface.

    

NOTE:  This menu displays only when the optional RS232C 

card is installed.

Sets parallel Interface.

BI-DIRECTION

Sets bi-directional parallel interface.

ECP

Sets ECP mode.

ACK WIDTH

NARROW*
MEDIUM
WIDE

Sets ACK width in compatible receiving.

ACK/BUSY TIMING

IN*
WHILE

Sets the output order of BUSY and ACK 
signals in compatible receiving.
ACK IN BUSY: BUSY+LOW-the end of 
ACK pulse.
ACK WHILE BUSY: BUSY+LOW-center of 
ACK pulse.

I-PRIME

DISABLE*
3µ SEC
50µ SEC

Sets time to enable/disable the I-PRIME 
signal.

RS232C

ENABLE*
DISABLE

Sets RS-232C I/F.
