Digital Zoom
Using digital zoom, images can be enlarged even beyond the extent of the
optical zoom so that the subject appears even closer. Using digital zoom,
images appear even closer. Whereas digital zoom is a compelling feature, the
more an image is enlarged (zoomed), the more pixilated (grainier) the image will
appear. The digital zoom function is only available when you set the LCD
monitor and the digital zoom to on. To enable the digital zoom, refer to
DIGITAL ZOOM in Record/Manual Record menu.
