❖ Less than 90 ppi - Less than 300 ppi
Performs image smoothing only when the image has an image resolution
(pixels per inch) less than the respective value you have selected in the list.
Note
❒ When [Auto] is selected, data processing may take a long time.
❒ When Image Smoothing: is used for a mask image, this function may have an
undesired effect on the print result.
Separate into CMYK
Use this to select the print separation type.
You can separate the printing data into CMYK to specify a specific color combination.
Color Control
Use this to select whether or not you want the colors in the documents to be adjusted
before printing so that the printed page matches closer to the colors on the screen.
The following table shows the tabs or menus where you can select this function.
❖ Image Color Control
Display the Image Color Matching dialog box, click this button to specify ex-
actly how you want the colors on your screen adjusted before printing.
Note
❒ If you use Windows 2000 / XP or Windows Server 2003, this function is called
“Image Color Management”.
❒ If you use Windows NT 4.0, this function can not be configured.
❒ If you use Mac OS, this function is called “Color Matching”.
