Installing the Battery Pack

Install and replace battery packs described in the procedure below.

1. Turn off the pen computer and disconnect the AC adapter/re-

charger.

2. Place the pen computer face down on a flat surface.
3. Release the catch on the battery pack cover with your finger and

open the cover.

4. Insert the battery pack(s) facing in the direction indicated by the

arrow.

5. Close the battery pack cover.

Inserting the Battery

CAUTION:

If a battery pack is inserted incorrectly, damage to the battery pack or

a fire could result.

CAUTION:

Always be sure to use the specified type of battery pack (NPN:

871-006-020).

NOTE:

To remove the battery pack, simply reverse the installation procedure.
