Optical image stabilizer can stabilize the image without decreasing the image quality as much.

The function works all the time.
[MODE2]:
The function works when the 
 button is pressed.
≥ This function’s default setting is

≥ Stabilization may not be possible under strong shaking.
≥ When recording yourself in still picture recording mode or using a tripod, we recommend setting this 
function to [MODE2].
≥ When recording using the tripod, it is recommended to set to 
 (ON).
