Base unit 

With the base unit facing you, the antenna should be straight up on the right side, towards the back of the 

unit. The handset's charging cradle is on the left of the base unit. This is an inch deep depression. For 

charging, the bottom of the handset gets put into the cradle with the handset buttons facing up. The unit 

will beep when the handset is properly placed in the cradle for charging. The handset can be placed in the 

cradle in an inverted position. Moving toward the center of the unit on the right of the cradle, three 

indicator lights are in a slightly raised smooth area. The left-most one is the LINE 1 indicator light. To the 

right of the LINE 1 indicator light is the LINE 2 indicator light. The right-most is the VOICE MAIL 

indicator light. 

Moving down to the front on the right corner of the unit, there is a large oval button. It is the HANDSET 

LOCATOR button. To the left of this button, there is the CHARGE indicator light. The CHARGE 

indicator light is also the LOCATOR indicator light.
