The fields are:

New Password Type the new password you want to 
use.

Confirm Password Retype the password for 
confirmation.

If you have made a mistake when typing a new 
password, click Clear to clear the fields.

This page allows you to enter a name for the switch. 
Use a descriptive name, for example ‘First floor 
switch’.

The name that you specify for the switch appears on 
some of the web interface and CLI pages.

This section describes the fields that appear on the 
pages in the Configuration category. The first page 
displayed is the Ageing Time page.

This page allows you to change the ageing time.

All addresses that are learnt by the switch are stored 
in the switch database. Ageing keeps the switch 
database up to date by removing any unused 
addresses that have not been made permanent.

For example the default ageing time is 1800 seconds 
(30 minutes), so if any non-permanent addresses are 
not used within 1800 seconds of being last used, the 
addresses are removed.
