This is a SDLC-SDLC style. Two SDLCs are connected across WAN.

In this way, the SDLCs across WANs are connected.

The following is a typical example of SDLC-LAN DLSw configuration, with SDLC 
multi-point supporting. In the example, the connected nodes c1 and c2 are PU2.0 
typed nodes (ATM) and the c3 is PU2.1 typed node. The port connected with the
