of routes , with the remaining routes being processed in one second.

Perform the following in the IS-IS View.

By default, the CPU is released once after every 5000 routes have been processed.

In order to prevent a router from forwarding information to another router, the

Administrator can suppress advertisements on a particular interface.

Perform the following in the IS-IS View.

By default, the interface is allowed to receive and send IS-IS packets.

The 

 command will prevent an IS-IS peer from becoming 

established over that interface.

Routes imported into IS-IS from other routing protocols are considered external to 
the IS-IS routing domain. A cost can be applied to the routes prior to importing the 
routes into the IS-IS route table.

The IS-IS level of Level-1 or Level-2 can be specified when importing routes into 
IS-IS.

Perform the following in the IS-IS View.

If the level into which the routes are to be imported is not specified in the import 
route command, the routes will be imported into Level-1-2 by default.
