ONFIGURATION

Perform the following configuration in System View or radius template view.

By default, the interval for transmitting the real-time accounting packets is 0, i.e., 
the real-time accounting is not used.

DNIS stands for dialed number identification system.

In the software, AAA servers can be differentiated by DNIS, that is, selecting 
different AAA servers for different called numbers, to provide varied service 
contents for them. This configuration task is only required for the PPP dialup users 
in the case where exist multiple AAA servers and multiple server templates.

You should enable AAA server selection on the basis of DNIS number before 
configuring this feature. This function can be enabled in the event that multiple 
AAA servers or server templates are available. This function will be rendered 
useless if there is only one AAA server or server template. You may disable AAA 
server selection on the basis of DNIS number by default.

Perform the following configuration in System View.

After enabling AAA server selection on the basis of DNIS number, you can 
configure the RADIUS accounting server that can be selected for a PPP user on the 
basis of the incoming dial number. The user can select the designated RADIUS 
server or RADIUS server template for accounting. If the incoming dial number has 
not been associated with any AAA server, the accounting method configured on 
the interface will be adopted.
