Using the Send Later function, you
can delay transmission of your fax
message until a specified time. This
allows you to take advantage of off-
peak telephone line charges without
having to be by the machine at the
time of transmission.

❒ If the power is turned off for 12

hours or longer, all documents
stored in memory are deleted.

❒ You cannot specify a time more

than 24 hours into the future.

❒ Make sure that the current time

shown in the display is correct be-
fore performing the following pro-
cedure. If it is not correct, you need
to adjust it beforehand. See p.111
“Date/Time”.

❒ If you want to use Economy Trans-

mission, program the time when
your phone charges get cheaper.
See p.142 “Economy Transmis-
sion”.

❒ You can assign the Economy

Transmission function to a User
Function key. See p.105 “User
Function Keys”. When you press
the User Function key with this
function programmed in, proceed
