Your 7444 Voice Terminal

The 7444 voice terminal is designed so that you can conveniently use the many

features of the DEFINITY

Communications System and System 75. Familiarize

yourself with your voice terminal, shown in Figure 1 below and explained on the
following page.

Starting with the handset and continuing clockwise:

1) Handset

2) Drop/Test button

3) Conference/Ring

5) Transfer button

6) Hold button

For placing and answering calls (also known as
the receiver).

For disconnecting from a call. When used with

] , you can test the lights, ringer, and display

on your voice terminal.

For setting up conference calls. When used with

] , you can select your own personalized ring.

A built-in 2-line by 40-character vacuum fluorescent
display.

For transferring a call to another voice terminal.

For putting a call on hold.
