4.8.11 Adjusting the creasing position:
With this button the position of the creases on the front and back can be
adjusted separately.
For example, in the case of a book with folding wing flaps, there may be 3 creases on the
back: 1. Crease on the spine of the book.
2. Courtesy crease.
3. Crease for the wing.
The operator can move these 3 creases at the same time so
that the crease on the spine (crease 1 on the diagram) can be positioned
exactly on the edge of the book's spine.
Modification in steps of 0.2 mm - 1/64".
Maximum value: 5 mm - 0.2".
The procedure is the same for the front cover.
4.8.12 Adjusting the cover position:
This function enables you to align the cover position according to the height of
the book. The value can be adjusted by up to ± 10 mm - 0.4" in steps of 0.2 mm
- 1/64".
Example: In N/1 mode.
If the cover overlaps the edge of the book by 1 mm - 3/64",
the operator can correct the position by 1 mm - 3/64" to align the edge of
the cover with the edge of the book.
Note: This adjustment only affects the position of the cover in relation to the book; the
creases remain centred on the spine.
