For compatibility reasons, PCC spacing values of the first line in a text block will
be ignored. However this can be modified by selecting the ‘Space First Line’
option in the ‘Print Options’ of  the dialogue.

 

In most cases ‘Space First Line’ should be de-selected to maintain
compatibility with existing print systems.

Select this option to space the first line in a text block.

                              

You have set the spacing action for a PCC value
that occurs on the first line and other lines in a text
block.

You want the spacing action to apply to the first
line as well the others.

In this case, you would select the Space First Line
option.
