Fixed Length
The default record format for PAK files is variable length delimited records,
however, in some host transfer situations this causes difficulties. To overcome this,
the Resource Packer has the option to write fixed length records.

Record Length
When the Fixed Length checkbox is selected the value required for the record length
is entered in the Record Length field. This value is the number of characters the
Resource Packer will put in each record.

Line End Character
The default delimiter for .PAK file records is CR/LF (Carriage-return/Line Feed). In
some cases this can cause problems with host transfers and if required can be
changed to be single carriage-return or single line feed. For this reason, the drop-
down menu provides the options CR, LF and CR/LF for selection.
