The XCounter log file location will default to the sys:system directory on the server
that XCounter is installed on. This file can be stored anywhere on the network. To
select a different location for this log file press the browse button and select the
path and location desired.

To monitor existing NDPS printers, XCounter accounting must be enabled for
each printer agent that requires tracking. To enable XCounter accounting, select
the “Printer Agents” tab, notice that all the printer agents associated with the
selected NDPS Manager will be displayed. Select the printer agent that XCounter
is to monitor and press the “Add accounting” button. The Printer Agent must be
restarted after accounting has been either added or removed. To restart, select
the printer and press the” Shutdown” and then the “Startup” button. Repeat this
process for all NDPS printers that require XCounter accounting. Notice the black
arrow on each printer agent that XCounter is tracking.
