Disabling Radios to Prevent Unexpected Reboots When Upgrading the System Software
If your access point runs Cisco IOS Release 12.2(11)JA, 12.2(11)JA1, or 12.2(11)JA2, your access point
might unexpectedly reboot after you upgrade to a later Cisco IOS release. However, after the access
point reboots, the upgrade is complete and the access point operates normally. It is recommended to
disable the radio interfaces before upgrading the software to prevent the access point from rebooting
unexpectedly.
