The ONS 15454 provides cost-effective transport of services between mobile telephone switch 
offices (MTSOs) and hub sites.  In Figure 9-41, the ONS 15454 links the hub sites to the MTSO 
transport network and ILEC facilities.  It also provides the optical bandwidth management 
between each MTSO site.
