Copy the license file to your TFTP server.

Install the DTLS license. You can install the license either by using the controller web GUI interface or

Management > Software Activation > Commands > Action: Install License

Upgrading from an LDPE to a Non-LDPE Controller
Step 1
Download the non-LDPE software release:

Go to the Cisco Software Center at this URL:

Choose the controller model from the right selection box.

Click Wireless LAN Controller Software.

From the left navigation pane, click the software release number for which you want to install the
non-LDPE software.

Choose the non-LDPE software release: AIR-X-K9-X-X.X.aes

Click Download.

Read Cisco’s End User Software License Agreement and then click Agree.

Save the file to your hard drive.
Step 2
Copy the controller software file (filename.aes) to the default directory on your TFTP or FTP server.
