Start of speech not flagged in 
Scansoft config file causing 
dtmf barge-in not to be

Possible Cause:
Change made to Scansoft OSSserver.cfg file under
 
ScanSoft\SpeechWorks OpenSpeech Media Server\Server\config
Possible Solution:
Set the following:
 
server.session.ossrec.mrcp.startOfSpeechOnDTMF VXIInteger 1
Scansoft Speech Recognition 
Server does not recognize 
Wide Character String 
Grammars
Possible Cause
ScanSoft server not configured for Wide Character String Grammars
Possible Solution
Set the following:
In the \ScanSoft\SpeechWorks OpenSpeech Media Server\Server\config 
directory, modify the OSSserver.cfg file to add
server.session.ossrec.useWidecharStringGrammars    VXIInteger 0
In the OSSserver.cfg, set:
server.transport.dtmfPayloadType VXIInteger 101
Long pauses between 
prompts
Possible Cause:
Possible Cause 1:
 
There is a WAIT node in the ICM script.
Possible Cause 2:
 
There is delay in the network or one of the components in the solution.
Possible Solution:
Possible Solution 1:
 
WAIT nodes are not supported with Customer Voice Portal. Check for 
WAIT nodes in the ICM script and remove them.
Possible Solution 2:
 
The point of latency must be isolated and fixed.
