Field
Explanation
Name
This is the name of the server that appears in MeetingTime and
MeetingPlace Web when users schedule a multiserver meeting. This name
helps users identify the correct server to schedule.

ID number
A meeting participant uses this numeric string, which can consist of
characters 0 through 9, when they outdial from within a conference to
select the server they want to add to the meeting. It is recommended that a
server’s ID number be the same on each server. You should work with the
other MeetingPlace system managers to determine the ID numbers for all
the MeetingPlace servers.

Phone number
This is the phone number of the MeetingPlace server. This number is used
by MeetingPlace to dial out to the MeetingPlace server to set up a
multiserver meeting. This number is passed through a system translation
table and is subject to the rules defined in the translation table. To check
that the correct phone number has been entered, schedule and attend a
meeting on your local server and then outdial to this remote server. If the
server answers the call, the phone number is correct.

Ethernet address This is the 12-digit (with leading zeros) hex string that represents the
Ethernet address of a MeetingPlace server. A MeetingPlace server’s Ethernet
address is used to identify itself to other MeetingPlace servers. This Ethernet
address must match the Ethernet address that appears in the Server
Configuration record (Configure tab) on the server this entry refers to.
