Upgrading Existing Housing Seizures
The GainMaker System Amplifier modules have a higher current-carrying capacity
than some earlier amplifier products. If you are replacing an earlier amplifier with a
GainMaker System Amplifier, you may need to upgrade the housing bottom to
handle the higher current demands.
The 15 A amplifier housings have silver-plated 0.063 in. diameter pins in the seizures.

The plastic material in the seizures and anvils are glass-filled in order to handle the
higher AC currents, as well as higher temperatures.

To Install the New Housing Seizures
Complete the following steps to upgrade amplifier housing to 15 A current capacity.
