AsyncOS for Web Upgrades and Updates
Automatic and Manual Update and Upgrade Queries
AsyncOS periodically queries the update servers for new updates to all security service components, but

When AsyncOS queries an update server for an update or upgrade, it performs the following steps:

Manually Updating Security Service Components
By default, each security service component periodically receives updates to its database tables from the
Cisco update servers. However, you can manually update the database tables.
