General Purpose CLI Commands
CLI Example: Committing Configuration Changes
Entering comments after the commit command is optional.
CLI Example: Clearing Configuration Changes
The
clear
command clears any changes made to the appliance configuration since the last
commit
or
clear
command was issued.
CLI Example: Exiting the Command Line Interface Session
The
exit
command logs you out of the CLI application. Configuration changes that have not been
committed are cleared.
CLI Example: Seeking Help on the Command Line Interface
The
help
command lists all available CLI commands and gives a brief description of each command.
The
help
command can be invoked by typing either
help
or a single question mark (
?
) at the
command prompt.
Further, you can access help for a specific command by entering
help
commandname
.
