This section provides key information that you must keep in mind before migrating to Cisco IOS XE Denali 16.2.

• Cisco IOS XE Denali 16.2 requires minimum ROMMON version 16.2(1r).

• Cisco ASR1000 modular platforms (ASR 1004, ASR 1006, ASR 1006-X, ASR 1009-X, and ASR 1013) require Universal

images and licenses.

• No additional changes are required for Cisco IOS XE configuration.

• Show commands and debug commands are the same as in the Cisco IOS XE 3.17 release.
