Running the System Setup Wizard
Setting the Time
Set the time zone on the Security Management appliance so that timestamps in reports, message headers

You can set the system clock time manually, but Cisco recommends using an Network Time Protocol
(NTP) server to synchronize time with other servers on your network or the Internet. By default, the

Setting the Password
You must change the password for the AsyncOS admin account. Keep the password in a secure location.

Configure the Network Settings
Define the hostname of the machine and then configure the gateway and DNS settings.

Enter the fully qualified hostname for the Security Management appliance. This name should be
