Uploading Configuration Changes Using the CLI
Step 1
Outside of the CLI, ensure that you are able to access the
configuration
directory of the appliance. See
for more
information.
Step 2
Place an entire configuration file or subsection of a configuration file in the
configuration
directory of the appliance, or edit an existing configuration that
was created from the
saveconfig
command.
Step 3
Within the CLI, use the
loadconfig
command to load the configuration file you
placed in the directory from Step 2, or paste the text (XML syntax) directly into
the CLI.

In this example, a file named
changed.config.xml
is uploaded and the changes
are committed:
mail3.example.com> loadconfig
1. Paste via CLI
2. Load from file
[1]> 2
Enter the name of the file to import:
[]> changed.config.xml
Values have been loaded.
Be sure to run "commit" to make these settings active.
