This section contains important information about using the Cisco 2800 series routers with Cisco IOS 
Release 12.4 software.

On a Cisco 2800 series router with an onboard Gigabit Ethernet interface, when the GE port is configured 
for half duplex and is connected to a hub (not a switch), then, under load, the interface may report 
collisions as Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) errors. These reported errors are cosmetic and are not 
associated with packet loss. This problem does not affect other platforms.
